Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the app “Phone Guardian Security” (the “App”) provided by PELLICULE (“we”).

Article 1 (Application)

The Terms apply to everyone who uses the App (“users”).

Article 2 (What the App does)

The App watches, inside your phone, the calls, sites, SMS links, apps and device that scams come through. It does not guarantee that every scam or every dangerous call or site will be stopped. The App does not perform virus scanning.

Article 3 (Fees)

After the free trial ends, an outright purchase (a single payment) is required to continue using the App. The purchase is tied to the same Google account, and you may use it on a device you move to after changing phones with no further payment (there is no need to buy it again). However, it may be used on only one device at a time, and moving to another device is done with “Use on this device” inside the App (once moved, it can no longer be used on the previous device). Prices and contents follow what is shown in the App and in each app store. Being an outright purchase, there are no monthly or yearly fees and no auto-renewal. Given the nature of digital content, refunds for a change of mind after purchase cannot be accepted. The record of the free trial is registered on our server wherever the App is used (please see the Privacy Policy for details).

Article 4 (Prohibited acts)

Users must not copy, alter, redistribute or analyse the App, or commit any other act contrary to law.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

We are not liable for damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the App, except where we have acted with intent or gross negligence. If stopping a call, or cancelling a call you made, causes any inconvenience, it can be resolved by adding that number or country to the lists of calls that always come through, or by changing the choice under “When a suspicious call comes in”. Any network trouble caused by the App can be resolved by stopping the watch.

Article 6 (Changes and termination)

We may change the contents of the App or end its provision, with prior notice to users.

Article 7 (Changes to the Terms)

We may amend the Terms as necessary. Important changes will be announced in the App.
